Cachasol Farm Distillery ("Cachasol," "we," "us") is the brand of Tequila Escondido, Inc. and Tequila Escondido Operaciones, S.A. de C.V., which together operate cachasol.com, the Cachasol farm and restaurant in Sayulita, Nayarit, and our online spirits shop. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
Information you provide. When you submit an inquiry form (weddings, groups, events, or general contact), we collect your name, email address, and the details of your request. Forms are processed by Formspree. If you sign up for our emails, your name and email address are stored and processed by Mailchimp, our email marketing platform. When you book a tour, tasting, or class, your booking is processed by Bokun on bookings.bokun.io, which collects your name, contact details, and payment information under its own privacy policy. When you purchase spirits, checkout is processed by BottleNexus, which collects your name, shipping address, payment details, and date of birth for age verification under its own privacy policy. Cachasol does not store your payment card details.
Information collected automatically. We use Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use our site, including pages viewed, approximate location, device type, and referral source. We use the Meta Pixel and Google Ads conversion tracking to measure advertising performance and to show relevant ads on those platforms. These tools use cookies and similar technologies. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may log IP addresses for security and performance.
How We Use Information
We use your information to respond to inquiries, fulfill bookings and orders, verify legal purchase age, improve our website, send marketing emails you have signed up for, and market our experiences and spirits, including through remarketing audiences on Meta and Google platforms. We do not sell your personal information.
Sharing
We share information only with the service providers named above (Formspree, Mailchimp, Bokun, BottleNexus, Google, Meta, Cloudflare) as needed to operate the site and fulfill your requests, or when required by law.
Your Choices
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email. You can decline cookies in your browser settings. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and manage ad personalization through Google Ad Settings and Meta Ad Preferences. California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and opt out of the sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising; to exercise these rights, contact us at the email below. Residents of other US states with privacy laws may have similar rights.
Age
Our spirits shop is intended for adults of legal drinking age. Purchases shipped within the United States require the purchaser and recipient to be 21 or older.
